Untitled, mixed media. I was goofing off while working on a project for another author.
My work schedule is chaotic this year so, in an effort to get focused and back to work, I wrote this accountability post. I usually work on rough drafts and rewrites from September to May. From June to August I illustrate and edit. However, in May of 2014, I ripped the tendons in my arm, which left me unable to finish illustrations for an upcoming children’s book.
I don’t think the initial injury was so bad, but I exacerbated it working out, painting, and canoeing. The pain was excruciating. I’m easing back into illustration now though I’m still having some issues with my arm. I’ll be starting on a new project in a few weeks and am pretty excited about that endeavor.
I’m hoping to release new content in March. With any luck, this will include two new short stories (digital only), a children’s book (print and digital), and a novel.
I want to thank everyone who purchased Bronze City and for the reviews. I’m grateful for your kind words, encouragement, and support.
